Your Google account
How Shamba+ uses your Google account
Shamba+ uses Google Sign-In so you don't need another password. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with Shamba+. We use them to create your account, show who is signed in, and contact you about your account if we ever need to. That is all.
Your Google data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with anyone else. Shamba+'s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
From the maker
I'm Samuel Ngigi, and I'm building Shamba+ from Kenya.
Most farms I know run on a notebook, memory and guesswork. Shamba+ exists so that at the end of a season you can see, in real numbers, what each crop and herd made or lost.
Shamba+ is independent. There are no investors, no ads, and no plan to sell your records to a lender or an input company. The only way it earns is by being useful enough that farmers keep it. If it isn't, write to me.

What we believe
Three commitments.
Your records are yours. You can delete them from inside the app at any time, and we will never sell them.
A farm is a business. Every season, crop and herd should be able to show what it made or lost.
It should work where the farm is. On an ordinary Android phone, on little data, and increasingly without signal.
